At this time, the Hermit is isolated from his former brothers save for his ability to meditate and reach into the Living Force and speak to his former master. During this time
period of solitude, the Hermit spends much of his time in meditation contemplating on his memories and a possible future channeled through the force. The Hermit is resting years later in his secluded hut, set upon one of the highest dunes of the desert planet. A sandstorm has forced him
to remain in his domicile focused on his study of the Living Force while surrounded by Sand People and his painful memories. The Hermit’s hope is to watch over the boy and, eventually, become one with the force and join his master.
